Sourced from vineyards within the sub-region of Watervale in the Clare Valley - soils renowned for growing the concentrated and aromatic Riesling for which Watervale is famous. Grapes are harvested in the cool of the morning and gently pressed into stainless tanks. This wine is made entirely from the free run juice fermented at cool temperatures (12-14˚C) until dry and bottled shortly after harvest to capture the freshness and vitality that is a hallmark of Watervale Riesling.
The Wine
Pale straw green. Intense lemon and lime fruit on the nose with hints of citrus blossom, green apple and sherbet. The palate is ripe and full flavoured, with passionfruit, lime juice and grapefruit flavours supported by delicate acidity and crisp texture which keeps the wine fresh, with a long, persistent finish.

- “I should have a t-shirt made for the amount of times I have said “Aussie riesling is the best value for your $20-$25 price tag” this is case in point. An abundance of appley goodness, some Granny Smith and crisp Johnnies. Nashi pear and juiced limes. It’s thirst quenching as you’d expect, full of zesty citrus and finishing with a curt dryness and clean, wet stone finish. Nothing but yum and lively positivity, don’t we all need some of that more regularly. Drink now with salt and pepper squid or a bag of salt and vinegar Proper Crisps.”
